KOTA BAHARU, April 23 (Bernama) — The Kelantan government has yet to make any decision if it was necessary to convene a special state legislative assembly sitting to discuss the proposed implementation of hudud law in the state.
Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob said the state government would think carefully if there was a need to call for such a meeting.
“We will see if the special sitting should be held in June or October this year when the legislative assembly convenes as scheduled,” he told reporters after the launch of the book ‘Tok Guru-Sebuah Biografi Awal’ in Kota Baharu, Wednesday.
