KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) — A total of 1,981 businesses have been created based on limited liability partnership (LLP) since the alternative form of doing business was introduced by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) in February, 2013.
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Deputy Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah said the latest figure showed encouraging response from the business community to the LLP, as they were given flexibility in managing their partnerships, for example, their financial statements needed not be audited.
