General : 10 Drowning Cases In Kelantan Due To Floods Since Dec 18

KOTA BAHARU, Dec 31 (Bernama) — Ten people were reported drowned since the floods occurred in the state from Dec 18 until Tuesday, said Kelantan Deputy Police Chief Datuk Rosli Abdul Rahman. 

He said that during the period concerned, two victims including a child aged one year and eight months in Kampung Kuala Sepertang were still missing after they were swept off by strong current.

Of the 10 people who were reported drowned, three victims were in Kota Baharu, another three victims were in Tumpat and four victims in Judi Slot Online Pasir Mas, he told reporters here Wednesday.

Rosli said eight of the victims were adults while two were children.

He said a senior citizen and his wife in Kampung Karangan, Laloh, Kuala Krai who were reported missing on Dec 24, were found safe on a tree by residents a day later.
