KUALA LUMPUR: Tears flowed unabated as Maria Chiteradewi Oaland wrapped her arms tightly around her long lost elder sister in an emotional reunion at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The first words she uttered to Muniammal Thambusamy when they met for the first time in 53 years were: “I’ve been looking for you all my life.”
Also at the airport to greet Chitera, as Oaland is fondly called, were Muniammal’s daughter Lakshumy, 28, son Ganessan Kumar and his wife Yeo Wei Sze, both 30.
