The statement from the Selangor palace asking for two nominations for the post of menteri besar from each Pakatan Rakyat party is “very consistent” with PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s views, Selangor PAS secretary Mohd Khairuddin Othman says.
“(Hadi’s) views are very consistent with His Royal Highness the Sultan’s decree, and we are confident that the people of Selangor also welcome the decree.
“In line with that, Selangor PAS is confident that the menteri besar candidate that will be submitted by each party will be acceptable to the palace,” Khairuddin said in a statement today.
