KANGAR, May 12 (Bernama) — Perlis will host all the SUKMA events in Perlis said Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaludin.
However, aquatics may be held at the Gunung Keriang Aquatic Centre in Alor Setar, Kedah if the new swimming complex being build in Perlis could not be completed in time or if it fails to be certified by the local authorities.
“This is Perlis’ SUKMA…we want all events to be held in Perlis because it will become the pride of the state,” Khairy told reporters after visiting the venues for the SUKMA, here Monday.
