KOTA BAHARU, May 12 (Bernama) — The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry aims to set up Mini Children’s Homes to place neglected and abused children nationwide by 2020.
Its minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said there was currently only one such existing home in the country in Panji here, which was set up in Feb 16 last year.
“We are aiming for these homes to be built throughout the country by 2020 and the children to be placed here are those involved in neglected and abused cases.
