Sales continue to remain brisk at all KFC outlets nationwide, despite the boycott against companies that are alleged to have links with Israel.
KFC Marketing general manager Kelvin Hong Kim Hoong said the company’s business was not affected by the boycott because it was a full-fledged Malaysian conglomerate owned by Johor Corporation.
“We do not support any political activities and QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd, which owns the master franchise for KFC and Pizza Hut, does not pay any franchise fee to Kentucky-based KFC Corporation."
