Police have urged the public to come forward if they know ‘Kelvin Yip’, the young man under fire from Umno Youth and Malay rights NGOs for posting on his Facebook a profanity-laden complaint about loud prayers from a mosque.

Deputy inspector-general of police Mohd Bakri Zinin affirmed that Yip was being investigated but up to now, they do not know much about the young man. Police have also not ruled out that someone else, masquerading as Yip, may have made the posting on his Facebook page. Yip’s Facebook page has since been deleted and his account closed.
