Police chose not to endorse a permit application for music concert 'Thirst 2015: We Are All Stardust' after objections from local community, Serdang district police chief Razimi Ahmad said.

The concert was to take place at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) Saturday, but organiser Future Sound Asia was told its permit was revoked the day before.

"On April 24, police (told the Subang Jaya Local Council) it will not support the permit after receiving information and objections on April 23, from the local community and the assemblyperson’s office on the concert," he said in a statement.
