Najib wants emergency sitting over #MH17
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak tonight sought an emergency parliamentary sitting following the alleged downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine.
The premier, who was clad in black Baju Melayu, also announced that the national flag would be flown at half-mast beginning tonight until Monday
“In asserting a firm stance by the Malaysian people, I as the prime minister, have decided to call an emergency parliamentary siting to strongly condemn the inhumane action,” he said in a national address on TV1 tonight.
