Najib tells youths to be moderate

PUTRAJAYA: Youths have been urged to stay away from extremist teachings that will do the country harm.

In his speech at the launch of the National Youth Day celebrations, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said youths should instead embrace moderation.

“This approach is comprehensive and integrated – as an example, the practice of Islamic teachings in a balanced and holistic way in all aspects of life,” said Najib before he expounded on the 6K concept to a gathering of more than 500 youths at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre yesterday.
