Mah and Ramkarpal sworn-in as MPs

BARISAN Nasional’s Datuk Mah Siew Keong and DAP’s Ramkarpal Singh have been sworn in as Members of Parliament.

Both, who were clad in black suits, have won the recent Teluk Intan and Bukit Gelugor parliamentary seats respectively.

Ramkarpal succeeded his late father, DAP veteran and lawyer Karpal Singh, who died in a car accident on April 17.

Mah, the Gerakan president, defeated a DAP candidate in a recent by-election following the death of its incumbent Seah Long Peng on May 1.

The two MPs took their oath before Deputy Speaker Datuk Ronald Kiandee.
