KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 20 (Bernama) — The strong Northeastly winds and rough seas (first category) in several coastal areas of Kelantan, Terengganu, Sabah, Labuan and Sarawak are expected to continue until Friday.
The Meteorological Department in a statement warned the Northeastly wind at a speed ranging from 40 to 50 km per hour with waves up to 3.5 meters were expected to continue until tomorrow.
The strong winds and rough seas were dangerous to small vessels and recreational sea activities and sports.
Similar strong winds and rough seas were expected to hit the coast of Samui, Condore, Reef North, Reef South, Palawan, and Layang-Layang in Labuan, the statement said
