KUALA TERENGGANU, May 26 (Bernama) — Awareness on usage of helmets which meet the stipulated specifications is still low among motorcyclists and pillion riders.
Malaysian Road Safety Department (JKJR) director-general Datuk Dr Tam Weng Wah said not using helmets which were certified by Sirim was among factors for deaths in accidents involving motorcyclists and pillion riders in the country.
