KANGAR, May 19 (Bernama) — Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is organising a two-day formula racing competition, ‘UniMAP-Modenas Racing Challenge 2014’ at the UniMAP International Circuit at Pauh Putra from June 6.
Programme director Shayfull Zamree Abd Rahim said in a statement Monday, that UniMAP vice chancellor Datuk Prof Dr Kamarudin Hussin mooted the idea, to spark interest in the sport among students and youths.
Meanwhile, he said competitors in the Category A, Modenas GT open category must use Modenas GT 128 engine only.
