KUALA TERENGGANU, Dec 22 (Bernama) — The number of flood evacuees in Terengganu remained above 5,000 people this afternoon as the flood situation unchanged.
Dungun still has the most number of victims with 2,208 people, followed by Kemaman (1,572), Hulu Terengganu (211), Besut (186), Kuala Terengganu (917), Marang (36) and Setiu (22).
According to the Terengganu National Security Council, 50 relief centres were still in operation, namely in Besut (four), Dungun (18), Hulu Terengganu (three), Kemaman (17), Kuala Terengganu (five), Setiu (two) and Marang (one).
