TUMPAT, June 16 (Bernama) — Marine police have detained seven foreign fishermen’s boats for encroaching and fishing in Malaysian waters so far this year, with seizures worth RM1.5 million.
Pangkalan Kubor Region 3 Marine Police commanding officer ACP Mohd Nawi Mohd Yunus said all the boats were detained in five operations carried out by the team since January till yesterday.
