KEMAMAN, June 9 (Bernama) — Work on package two of the East Coast Expressway (LPT2) linking Jabor to Cheneh, stretching about 26 kilometres, is expected to be ready end of the month and will be opened to motorists before the coming Aidilfitri.
State Infrastructure and Public Utilities Committee chairman Ir Rosli Othman said the opening of the new road stretch would help to ease traffic congestion.
He said efforts would be made to expedite construction of the other two LPT2 packages which were scheduled for completion in stages in September.
