MELAKA, June 2 (Bernama) — Developing idle land under a partnership concept between land owners and entrepreneurs helps reduce the acreage of such land in the country, said Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (PUNB) chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.
The concept could also generate income for the land owners and entrepreneurs under a win-win arrangement, he added.
The land owners could lease their land to entrepreneurs or work out a partnership arrangement based on the percentage of profits, he told Bernama.
“I hope more land owners and entrepreneurs will work together under this concept to earn an income,” he said.
