JOHOR BAHARU, May 29 (Bernama) — The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim, Thursday expressed condolences over the demise of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah.
Sultan Ibrahim expressed the condolences in his speech opening the meeting of the Johor state legislative assembly at Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim here.
“I and all the people of Johor express our condolences to the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Bainun, and family over the demise of His Royal Highness, the Sultan of Perak, yesterday,” he said.
Sultan Ibrahim said they prayed for God to bless the late sultan’s soul.
