IPOH, April 17 (Bernama) — The paying of last respects for and funeral of Karpal Singh will take place in Penang on Saturday or Sunday, according to the late DAP leader’s son, Gobind Singh Deo.
Gobind Singh, who is the MP for Puchong, said the family wished to hold these ceremonies on either of the two days.
Nevertheless, he said, the date would be confirmed this evening as some relatives were overseas.
Gobind Singh said he last saw his father when the latter came to see him at 10.15 pm at the Pantai Hospital in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, where he had been since Monday.
