KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 (Bernama) — Civil servants have a better understanding of the rationale and importance of implementing the Goods and Service Tax (GST) said Cuepacs president Azih Muda.
Azih said the understanding was due to programmes organised by Cuepacs since last year to brief civil servants.
“So far Cuepacs had carried out programmes to brief the need for GST in a number of states, especially Kedah, Sarawak, Terengganu and Kelantan. We will carry out similar programmes in other states,” he told Bernama when contacted today.
