JAKARTA, Dec 31 (Bernama) — The recovered bodies of the passengers and crew of an AirAsia Indonesia aircraft that crashed in the Java Sea on Sunday will be flown to Surabaya for identification by the authorities, according to a news portal.

The portal, suara.com, quoted a spokesman of the Indonesian national search and rescue team, Bambang Soelistyo, as saying that three bodies were recovered overnight in the waters off Pangkalan Bun in Central Kalimantan.

“During the search from last night to this morning, we found three bodies – two of men and one of a woman clad in stewardess attire,” he said. This brings to six the number of bodies recovered so far.
