NUSAJAYA, June 2 (Bernama) — The Johor government received 9,465 online applications for the purchase of affordable and low-cost houses since the facility was introduced in the middle of April, the state legislative assembly was told today.
State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Latiff Bandi said 4,077 of the applications were for the purchase of affordable homes and 5,388, low-cost houses.
“Of the applications for low-cost houses, 3,263 were for houses costing RM42,000 and 2,125 for houses priced at RM84,000,” he said when replying to a question from Datuk Saipolbahari Suib (BN-Bukit Naning).
