Everyone, including former Premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad, must respect the leaders chosen by the people, said Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
"A leader that is chosen by the people must be respected, including by former leaders.
"Najib is suitable for his own era (Zaman Najib adalah zaman yg sesuai dgn era Najib)," the Umno vice-president told reporters.
