Eleven people who were jailed for protesting against the Perak coup in 2009 were…

Eleven people who were jailed for protesting against the Perak coup in 2009 were freed at about 9pm today.

They were granted a pardon by the Perak Sultan, in conjunction with the month of Ramadhan.

Upon their release, they broke fast with the families in front of the Tapah prison.
