The service, open to takaful fire and house owner/household plan holders, requires them to contact the nearest regional office to enable an adjuster to be appointed, Takaful Ikhlas said in a statement.
The adjuster will assess the damage and the claim is processed according to his recommendation, it said, adding that policy holders would be notified of the approval via a text message.
“The claim form will be given by the appointed adjuster to flood victims during inspection of the affected premises,” it said.
Takaful Ikhlas said policy holders in the East Coast can contact its regional office in Kelantan at 09-746100, Terengganu (09-6318170) and Pahang (09-5670700).
