Already charged twice with sedition, Ali Abdul Jalil is expected to face yet another sedition charge, this time in Johor.
“We were informed that he will be taken to Johor Bahru to be remanded and then charged (for sedition),” his lawyer Michelle Yesudas told Malaysiakini.
She said that this is after a police report was lodged against him at the Johor Bahru police district headquarters.
She said that Ali, 29, will be spending the night in the lock up in Shah Alam tonight, after failing to post bail this afternoon for earlier charges there.
Ali will be produced in Johor Bahru tomorrow.
