A heads of agreement has been signed between the Selangor and federal governments to conclude the restructuring of the Selangor water industry.
Tweets by Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim’s press secretary Arfa’eza Aziz confirmed the signing ceremony.
In the photograph tweeted by Arfa’eza, Khalid is seen signing the heads of agreement together with Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Maximus Ongkili.
In the series of tweets, Arfa’eza said success in the signing of the agreement was a victory for the people of Selangor, who have long supported the state's water industry takeover plans.
