Police today took a statement from a woman allegedly a participant at the nudist sports event in Teluk Kampi, Taman Negara (national park), Penang on May 31.
Southwest district OCPD Supt Lai Fah Hin said the woman, only identified as Ellen, came in today to give her statement.
Asked if she was under arrest, Lai said: "No, she only came in to give her statement".
"She is here to help us in our investigations, and she will be released later today," he told Malaysiakini when contacted.
