Malaysia will review trade ties with multi-national companies from China, Japan and United States who do business with Israel, in light of the recent Gaza war.
Minister of Trade and Industry Mustapa Mohamed said that the review would be carried out with the purpose of punishing Israel, according to a report in Utusan Malaysia today.
However, Mustapa stressed that it may be difficult to exert pressure on Israel alone, as many these companies now operate across many nations, using Israeli-made components.
