Video | KiniTV Malaysia Airlines (MAS) today denied speculations that it had turned down pilots' proposals for alternative routes avoiding the troubled eastern Ukraine region, prior to the downing of Flight MH17.
MAS director of operations Izham Ismail said there were never such proposals from its pilots.
He adds that MAS did not make a mistake in keeping the route, as it's own threat analysis had shown that it was safe.
