Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai has insisted that the apron at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) is not flooding, stating that it was merely "ponding".
"I would like to explain here that KLIA2 is not experiencing a flood, it is not flooding, just ponding.
"It is not flood, the word you use gives an impression that the whole of KLIA2 is flooded," he told Parliament today.
Liow was responding was to Tiong King Sing (BN-Bintulu) who rubbished the authorities claim that all was well with the new airport that only started operations in May.
