Train derails in Pahang, services disrupted
The KTM East Coast Intercity service was disrupted following the derailment of the ‘Ekspres Wau’ from Kuala Lumpur to Tumpat, Kelantan at 1.50am this morning.
Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Berhad in a statement said in the incident at Km80 between Kamayang-Triang, one of the eight coaches carrying 200 passengers derailed from the track.
“None of the passengers were injured and all 79 passengers were transferred to the coach in front,” the statement said.
