The Sungai Buloh prison have turned requests from Pakatan Rakyat MPs to meet opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
About 15 MPs representing the three parties had turned up at prison gates, in order to consult Anwar on several important bills that has been tabled in Parliament.
"We normally have a pre-council meeting on issues related to Parliament. For this session, we want his input on GST, the supplementary budget bil, the Prevention of Terrorism Bill, among others," Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin told reporters.
He said Pakatan had wrote to the director of the prisons department two weeks ago to request for an appointment with Anwar. However, they have yet to receive a reply.
