GEORGE TOWN, May 14 (Bernama) — The Penang G Cycling Club will be organising the 2014 Ride of Silence race on May 21, to commemorate those who died or suffered injuries while cycling on roads.
The race, held for the third time, is also aimed at creating awareness among those who use motorised vehicles, to be considerate about the safety of cyclists.
Organising chairman Jason Choong said those interested in participating need to be present at the New World Park at 7.30am on May 21 (Wed) with their bicycles and safety gear.
