KUALA LUMPUR, June 18 (Bernama) — As anticipated, national badminton ace, Datuk Lee Chong Wei made it easily to the second round of the Indonesian Open Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In the first round at the Istora Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Wednesday, Chong Wei only took 31 minutes to beat the Indonesia’s singles player, Sony Dwi Kuncoro in straight sets 21-7 and 21-11, according to the website ww.bwfbadminton.org//sport.
Chong Wei had won the Indonesian Open five times, namely in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 dan 2013.
