Seri Delima assemblyman RSN Rayer is the latest to be arrested under the 1966 Societies Act.
He is currently held at the Northeast District Police Headquarters on Jalan Patani, after giving his statement to the police over the issue of voluntary patrol unit (PPS).
Earlier, Rayer was one of the 21 lawyers who secured the release of 135 detainees including state cabinet member Phee Boon Poh.
