Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is suffering from an illness which makes him forget his promises, according to Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM).
The movement recalled how the prime minister had in the past said that the government was planning to abolish the draconian Sedition Act as part of its transformation plan.
SAMM was commenting on Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s statement yesterday that the Sedition Act should be amended to tackle social media users.
Disagreeing with this, SAMM coordinator Ahmad Anwar Asyraf said the law should be abolished and not amended.
