Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his cabinet have been urged to lead the fight against extremism.
Seputeh MP Teresa Kok said Najib, especially, should not merely call on the country's 'silent majority' to stand up against extremism.
Kok's statement comes after Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Joseph Kurup yesterday asked the country's silent majority to protest against religious extremism and bigotry.
Najib himself had, last year, said the same thing, stressing that diversity should be celebrated.
