According to The Star today, Wong’s lawyers had received a letter of demand from Ibrahim’s lawyers on Tuesday, demanding a retraction of the article and the statement it contains, a letter of undertaking not to write such statements in the future, and RM500,000 costs for the damages it supposedly caused.
The Nov 2 article 'A mind-boggling spin' was published in Wong’s column, questioning the attorney-general’s rationale for not charging Ibrahim under the Sedition Act over his “bible-burning” remark.
