Pengkalan Kubor Independent candidate Izat Bukhary Ismail Bukhary has denied his contest is being sponsored by any quarters.
Izat, 47, claimed he has been using his own money to contest since the last general election in 2013.
"I want to dispel (everyone's suspicions). This Independent candidate does not represent any (party).
"It's not easy to run again (after GE13)," he told reporters last night when met at a coffeeshop in Pengkalan Kubor."
