Non-governmental organisation Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) women's coordinator Young Syefura Othman proposes that all Selangor students at three universities in the state be given free education.
She called on the newly appointed exco Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad to show that the state can implement free education.
Syefurah added that SAMM as a Pakatan-friendly NGO, wants to see the Pakatan government in Selangor to fulfil the promise of a free education, as stated in its last election manifesto.
“We would like to see Nik Nazmi who is Selangor state executive councillor (exco) for education to implement Pakatan Rakyat's manifesto to the capability and ability of the state government,” she said in a statement today.
