Kit Siang: 'May 13' Muhyiddin unfit to be DPM
There is no doubt Muhyiddin Yassin is not fit to be deputy prime minister for issuing another May 13 threat, said DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang.
The opposition leader also took MCA president Liow Tiong Lai to task for defending Muhyiddin by describing the threat as a reminder to Malaysians not to take unity for granted.
"If all cabinet ministers are like-minded as the MCA president, who could sanitise a 'threat' of a racial riot as a 'reminder', then for the first time in the 57-year history of Malaysia, the nation has a cabinet which is not fit or qualified to lead Malaysia’s multi-racial and multi-religious nation," he added in a statement.
