SINGAPORE, May 19 (Bernama) — The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah was accorded an official ceremonial welcome at The Istana here Monday.
The king and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah were greeted on arrival by Singapore president Dr Tony Tan and his wife, Mary Tan.
The royal couple arrived Sunday for a four-day state visit to Singapore.
During the ceremony, the national anthem of both countries, ‘Negaraku’ and ‘Majulah Singapura’ were played.
