Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa in his speech at the opening of the session held at Angkasapuri, here, Wednesday said the effort was part of the government’s commitment to enhancing public service integrity by transforming the management’s follow-up actions on the AG’s Report.
He urged the secretary-generals of the ministries to take appropriate action to uphold the integrity of their respective ministries and agencies.
“I hope, if possible, there will be no more reprimand in the coming Auditor-General’s Report. We must strive to reduce it,” he said.
This is the second session with the media over the report after the first in June following the tabling of Series 2 of the AG’s Report 2013 in Parliament.
Today’s session was attended by the various ministries’ secretary-generals, heads of department and top officials from the government agencies.
