SANDAKAN, Sept 29 (Bernama) — School infrastructure in the rural and interior of Sabah needed to be given priority by the Education Ministry to bridge the gap with those of urban schools.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said rural schools must be provided with infrastructure that was fully equipped and sophisticated as that of schools in the state’s urban areas.
“The state government gives its full committment and cooperation to the ministry in ensuring the success of the national education development agenda,” he said when officiating the ‘Joint Programme With the Education Ministry’ here today.
His text of speech was read by Sabah Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Tawfik Abu Bakar Titingan.
