KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama) — Three non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have lodged police reports against the organiser of the Anti-Goods and Services Tax (GST) protest planned for May in the capital.
Its spokesman, Amir Amsaa Alla Pitchay said action should be taken against the organiser as the rally would cause upheaval and tarnish the country’s image.
“It will adversely affect the economy and disrupt businesses,” he told reporters after the three NGOs lodged their reports at the Sentul District Police Headquarters here today.
