SEREMBAN, May 29 (Bernama) — All heads of state and federal departments in Negeri Sembilan have been asked to hoist the state and federal flags at half-mast today as a mark of mourning over the demise of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah.
The instruction was given by the State Secretary Datuk Mat Ali Hassan in a statement issued here Thursday.
Sultan Azlan Shah passed away at 1.30 pm yesterday at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur. His Royal Highness was 86.
